Retirement Service of Aps. John Oppong Ofori

After two decades of devoted service in full-time ministry, Apostle John Oppong Ofori and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ofori, have retired from active ministry with The Church of Pentecost, U.S.A. Inc.

Their retirement service, held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at The Church of Pentecost Dallas Central in Texas, was officiated by the National Head of The Church of Pentecost, U.S.A. Inc., Apostle Seth Samuel Asante. The event also marked the welcome of the new Texas Area Head, Apostle Stephen Amponsah, and his family.

Apostle Ofori’s remarkable journey began in 2005 when he was called into full-time ministry in Brooklyn, New York. Over the years, he served in multiple districts and countries, including Hartford, Virginia, Atlanta, and the Texas and Ohio Areas, as well as international missions in Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the Philippines.

From being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Program Director turned full-time minister, Apostle John Ofori served with dedication to prayer, leadership, apostolic teachings, prophetic songs, and the planting and growth of churches across regions.

The General Council of The Church of Pentecost commends Apostle John and Mrs. Ofori for their unwavering dedication, spiritual gifts, and exemplary family life. As they retire, the church prays for God’s continued blessings, grace, and good health in the years ahead.
