NATIONAL HEAD, APS. SETH ASANTE’S APOSTOLIZATION VISIT TO PIWC HAWAII MILITARY BASE ASSEMBLY

Overview and Welcome

National Head of The Church of Pentecost USA Inc., Aps. Seth Samuel Asante, and First Lady Esther Asante, paid an apostolic visit to PIWC Hawaii Military Base District from October 31 to November 3, 2025. The purpose of this visit was to provide encouragement, strengthen the church, and foster a deeper connection to the broader COP USA Inc. family, for which we are eternally grateful.

 

The National Head and First Lady arrived on the Island of Oahu on Friday, October 31, 2025, to a warm Aloha welcome. As a Hawaiian tradition, they were presented with flower leis which symbolize the aloha spirit, and a deep sense of welcome and family. They were met on arrival at the Honolulu Airport by the California Area Head and National Executive Member – Apostle Joseph Antwi (who was also visiting PIWC Hawaii for the very first time), the District Pastor – Ovr. Eugene Dzathor, Lady Sandra Dzathor, and members of the Presbytery.

 

Key Events and Engagements

 

1.      Friday Prayer Service

The Apostolization events began with Apostle Seth Asante, First Lady Esther Asante, and Apostle Joseph Antwi joining PIWC Hawaii Military Base Assembly for the Day of His Power Prayer Service on Friday evening, from 7:30 to 9:30pm. The District Pastor, Ovr. Eugene Dzathor formally introduced the Aps. Joseph Antwi to the church as the new Area Head, and in turn, Aps. Joseph Antwi also formally introduced the National Head and First Lady to the church. Aps. Seth Asante preached to an expectant congregation on the theme “Unleashed for Kingdom Impact”. This was followed by a time of fervent prayers led by Aps. Joseph Antwi. After the service, the Apostles and the National First Lady had a time of fellowship and interactions with members of the congregation.

 

2.      Leaders Retreat

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the National and Area Heads met with members of the leadership of PIWC Hawaii Military Base Assembly for a Leaders’ Retreat from 10am to 1pm. This was a time of training, equipping, spiritual renewal, encouragement and strengthening.

 

During Part 1 of the Leaders’ Retreat, Aps. Seth Asante spoke on the theme “Leadership Core Values – Building A Foundation of Godly Leadership”. The Leaders were reminded to do the right things for the right reasons; seek and pray for God’s agenda in order to align our priorities with God’s will; and to prioritize eternal things over temporary things.

 

During Part 2 of the Leaders’ Retreat, Aps. Seth Asante spoke on the church’s “Vision 2028”. He expounded on the Church’s Strategic Vision – Vision 2028, citing the scriptural basis for this vision, the need for the church to transform society with Kingdom values, and role of the church leadership in bringing this vision to fruition.

 

3.      Visit To New Church Premises

Following the Leaders’ Retreat on Saturday, Aps. Seth Asante, First Lady Esther, Aps. Joseph Antwi visited the new church premises, accompanied by the District Pastor, Elders Nana Agyeman and Michael Afoakwa. The new premises is currently undergoing renovations to convert what was formerly a warehouse, to a place of worship – a place PIWC Hawaii can call home. The Apostles and First Lady were amazed at the tremendous work done to date, and the herculean effort put in by the members of the congregation. The Apostles prayed over the new premises, invoking the power, presence and blessings of God upon the new place. They pronounced the blessings of God over the entire membership, who continue to pull their resources together to complete this project.

 

4.      Sunday Service – Climax of Apostolization & Communion Service

The Apostolization events climaxed on Sunday, November 2, with a wonderful and a powerful church service. There were powerful song ministrations by Ohana Choir. First Lady Esther Asante, with the help of the Ohana Choir, led the church into the presence of God through an awesome time of worship. Aps. Seth Asante preached a powerful message titled “Covered in the Garment of Esau”. This was followed by a time of intense prayers, led by Aps. Joseph Antwi, who also conducted the Communion Service after the prayers. Following the service, the Apostles and the National First Lady had another time of fellowship, picture taking, and interactions with every member of the church.

 

5.      Time of Fellowship

After Sunday Service, the Apostles, First Lady Esther, and members of the Leadership of PIWC Hawaii visited ‘The LineUp At Wai Kai’. This was a social event organized by the Leadership to dine with the Apostles and First Lady, have a close and personal interaction them, and to give them some much needed Hawaiian and aloha experience. The Apostles and First Lady Esther were treated to some Hawaiian delicacies. They enjoyed the beautiful scenery at this wonderful location and took lots of photographs.
