Retirement Service of Aps. John Kwame Appiah

The Ohio Area of The Church of Pentecost, United States of America (U.S.A.) Inc. has honored Apostle Dr. John Kwame Appiah and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Appiah, for their 23 years of dedicated service to God and the church.
A glorious retirement service was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, and was officiated by the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi.
The event drew city officials, chiefs, ministers, and loved ones whose lives had been touched by the Apostle Dr Appiah’s ministry.
The occasion also welcomed Apostle Andrews Darko Donkor and family as the new Ohio Area Head, signifying a smooth transition of leadership.
Apostle Dr. Appiah, a pioneering member of the Bronx Assembly in 1987, has been widely recognized for his unwavering love, service, and leadership. His ministerial journey began in Ohio as a Probationary Overseer (2002–2007), followed by service as District Pastor in New England (2007–2012), Regional Head in New Jersey (2012–2017), Regional Head in New York (2017–2022), and finally, Ohio Area Head (2022–2025).
As the church bid them farewell, the resounding message was clear: “Well done, good and faithful servants.” The Church of Pentecost U.S.A. Inc. prays God’s blessings, good health, and continued grace for Apostle Dr. Appiah and his family as they enter this new chapter.
